Steven A. Mukai
Devoted Family Man and Eagles Fan
Steven A. Mukai, 68 years old, of Eastampton passed away peacefully on Monday morning on July 16, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Goro and Fujiye Mukai. He was predeceased by his brother Alan. He is survived by his wife, Luong, of 28 years and his daughter, Christine. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews on his wife and brother’s side of the family. Mr. Mukai graduated from Bridgeton High School and attended Rider University receiving a marketing degree. Throughout his life he worked for RCA, Mitel Telecommunications, and most recently with the Burlington Stores as an Equipment Repair Technician. Steve was a true adventurer and was known for taking his family on unforgettable trips from Arcadia National Park to the Hawaiian Islands. He loved to find new places to go hiking, biking, and birdwatching. He was a music lover, avid film watcher, and sports fan. His other interests included chess, racquetball, and tennis. Cremation will take place privately at the convenience of the family at Park View Cemetery at Kirby’s Mill in Medford Township, with Rev. Earl Ikeda officiating.
The Celebration of Life Service will be opened to family and friends in the future.
