Elfriede A. Jugan
Elfriede A. Jugan of Westampton, NJ passed away on January 1, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Elfriede was born in Munich, Germany on October 14, 1928. She moved to the US in 1951 and was married to Joseph Jugan. After raising 2 children, Michael and Joseph, Elfriede went back to school and received her GED at RVRHS, graduating valedictorian. For many years Elfriede worked for the Westampton School District and truly enjoyed that part of her life. Through the years she was involved with the B.C. Life Group where she spent many happy hours involved in activities and travel with her friends.
She is survived by her sister Gerdi and husband Hansie; sons, Michael (Gale) and Joseph (Robin); her grandchildren Jennifer (Bryan), Matthew (Ashley), Tyler (Christine), Ashley (Nick) and Kyle; and her great grandsons Connor and Hayden. Elfriede is also survived by nieces and nephews in both Germany and the US.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 9th at 11AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Marne Highway, Hainesport. Interment will be private in Beverly National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Elfriede to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ. Arrangements were made with Ed Kaelin III at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, Mt.
