Obituary for Deborah Ann Johnson

Deborah Ann Johnson
Lifelong Pemberton Resident

Deborah A. Johnson of Pemberton passed away January 7, 2015. She was 64. Debbie was born in Mt. Holly, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Pemberton. She worked for many years at the Stellitano Farm stand in Pemberton. Deb loved her weekly breakfasts with friends at Cosmos. She enjoyed watching women’s college basketball, being outdoors, and any type of family gatherings. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons. Debbie was a longtime school board member of Pemberton Borough, a member of the Burlington County Board of Elections, Active member of the Pemberton Borough Republican Club, and a past president of the Pemberton Little League.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Verna Johnson, her sister, Jacqueline Simpkins, and her brother, Donald Johnson. Debbie is survived by her son, Thomas Emmons, her daughter, Christine E. and Brian Ahearn; her grandchildren, Evan and Alec Ahearn; her nieces Tracey Boeseman and Renay Reyes; four siblings and a sister-in-law: Kandy Mengle (Raymond), Ronald Johnson (Janice), David Johnson (Dottie), Charles Johnson (Carol) and Connie Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 16th at 11AM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Columbus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Debbie to Davita Dialysis, 1261 Route 38 West, Suite B, Hainesport, NJ 08036.
