Joseph “Joe” R. DeFelice of Moorestown passed away Monday April 2, 2018 at Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill. He was 78. Joe was born in Harrisburg, PA and had been a longtime Mt. Holly resident, most recently living in Moorestown with his daughter. He was a very hard worker who enjoyed cutting his neighbor’s and friend’s grass. Joe was an avid Yankees fan, he enjoyed parades, playing the lottery, riding his bike, collecting model cars and the Hess truck collection.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth Conda and Joseph DeFelice, brothers Felice, Francis and Sebastian “Sam” DeFelice. Joe is survived by his daughter Kathryn Williams; his grandsons: Anthony Michael Justin DeFelice and Benjamin Williams V (fiancée Alexa Cannon); and great-grandchildren: D’Mario DeFelice, D’lorean DeFelice, Natalie DeFelice, Angela DeFelice, A’Melia DeFelice and Nathan Carter Williams. He is also survived by his best friend/caregiver Herbert Alexander and good friend Stella Perez.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 9th at 12PM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High Street, Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Monday from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the ODD FELLOWS CEMETERY, RT. 130, Burlington, NJ.
