Albert R. Dixon of Burlington passed away Monday June 18, 2018 at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in The Samaritan Hospice Unit in Mt. Holly. He was 75. Albert was born in Medford,NJ and had previously lived in Mt. Holly before moving to Burlington. He worked as a truck driver for 50 years. Albert enjoyed fishing, collecting lighters, car shows and watching TV.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Fran, his son Jimmy, a grandson and seven siblings. Albert is survived by his wife of 30 years Dorothy (née-Cooper); his children with Fran: Bill, Albert Jr., Kathryn, Jimmy, Chris, Kenneth and his children with Dorothy Billy, Eddie and Robert; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 12PM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends May visit with the family from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Albert to the Go Fund Me page established for his funeral expenses.
