Obituary for William R. "Bill" Hubbell

Print
William R. Hubbell of Browns Mills passed away suddenly on October 4, 2018. He was 68. Bill was born in Camden, NJ and had been a longtime resident of Browns Mills. He retired after 42 years working as an electrical mechanic for Perry Videx LLC in Hainesport. Where he also served as a union shop steward. Bill was also working as a licensed Realtor for over 20 years with Century 21 Alliance. One of his many accomplishments was in establishing Pemberton Area Athletic League. Where he went on to serve as League President. He also enjoyed coaching his sons, as well as many of the neighborhood children in football, baseball and soccer. In his younger days he spent time hunting, riding his motorcycle and going on family camping trips. Bill found peace in taking annual trips to Myrtle Beach with his wife, sons and grandchildren. Spending time with his grandchildren brought him much joy. Family and friends admired his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He also was a member of the Pemberton Masonic Lodge #199. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his sister Karen Hubbell. Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years Sue Hubbell; his children: William RE Hubbell and Robert Hubbell (Jami); and his grandchildren: Jason, Tyler, Lauren, Noah and Ally. He is also survived by his brother Raymond Hubbell; two half brothers Jerry and David Chester; nieces, nephews and many friends.
