Lillian Luker
Lillian passed away at home the morning of Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018.
She was a vibrant and happy person. She had a zest for life and love for her family, friends, Elvis, cats, and flowers. She loved people and she loved living life to the fullest. Her family and her friends will remember her, her life, and her stories. Her smile will be missed for she will be missed.
She was born in Woodcrest, N.J. and grew up on farms there and in Medford and Pemberton. She had many funny stories to tell of her and her brother's shenanigans living the farm life.
In 1956, she married Norris and they resided the rest of their married life in Browns Mills, where they raised their family.
She worked for the Pemberton Township School District and Deborah Heart and Lung Center, where she made friends and enjoyed going to work. Her family has heard many fond memories that she had with her co-workers through the years with stories she would tell.
Lillian is survived by her children and their spouses, Lillian and Mark Stevenson, Norris and Brenda Luker, Patti and Keith Oakerson, Curtis and Nora Luker, Heather and Ron Luker. She is also sur- vived by two granddaughters and their spouses, Dellyn and Jose Crespo and Erica Luker and Shane O'Reilly, and eight grandsons, Robert and Mark Stevenson, Charles and Curtis Oakerson, Curtis Jr., Cody, and Kyle Luker, and Isaac Luker. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Kayla, Sarah, Nicole, and Angela Crespo and Rylie Luker, and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Luker and their daughter, Nancy Ann Luker; her pa- rents, Charles and Delvina Palmer; and her brother, Raymond Charles Palmer.
The family would like to thank everyone in Lillian's life that she had spoken of, because that means you were important to her and sweetened her time here on Earth and she cared deeply for you to share you with her family.
As per her request and arrangements, there will be no services of any kind held.
Any donations can be given in Lillian’s name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053, or at samaritannj.org/giving/donate-now, for their care of Lillian, or to the ASPCA Popcorn Park, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731 or at www.ahscares.org/ContentPage/2936 for Lillian's love of animals.
