Patrick J. Starr of Mt. Holly passed away February 19, 2019 at Virtua
Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 63. Patrick was born in Philadelphia, PA and
had been a longtime resident of Mt. Holly. He spent his childhood years in
Haddon Heights, where he was a 1973 graduate of Haddon Heights High. Patrick
liked watching NASCAR, building and restoring cars, camping, shooting skeet,
and throwing horseshoes. His biggest love, however, was his wife and his two
sons. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who
will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Starr. Patrick is
survived by his wife of 32 years, Veronica Starr (nee-Pledge), his sons: Cody
Emerson Starr and Jesse Ray Starr, and his eight loving siblings: Terri Starr-
Kowalski, James Starr, Eileen Starr-Ewe, Jack Starr, Thomas Starr, Joseph Starr,
Joanne Starr-Brown and Elizabeth Starr-Vessels.
There will be a Celebration of Patrick’s Life on Friday evening, March 1st
from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM at the Haddon Heights Log Cabin located at 700 W.
Lippincott Lane Haddon Heights NJ 08035. Interment will be private and at the
convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in support
