Obituary for Gregory L Van Sciver

Gregory Lee Van Sciver passed away February 17, 2019 at his residence in Lumberton, NJ. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, where he served with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. We are thankful for his service and sacrifices he has made for his country and also his family. He never hesitated to help anyone in need if it was family, a friend or a stranger. Greg would have been there to assist and help anyone if he could; even if it meant giving his own life to save another. He would have done so to make a difference. We are all thankful for all the love and support he has given to us in our family for all the years of his life. Greg was a loving husband, loving father, loving family member and friend. He will always be truly missed and loved always by his mom, his wife, his son and all of his family and friends. May we never forget Gregory Van Sciver for his love for his country, family and friends; until we meet again, rest in peace. We should honor him the way he honored us all. He loved us all very much.
A Private Service for the family was held on Monday March 4th at the LEE FUENRAL HOME, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. There will be a public Memorial Service Saturday March 9th at 3PM at the Rancocas Valley Baptist Church, 15 Valley Farm Road, Westampton, NJ. Interment will be private. Email condolences to the family at leefuneralservice.com. Psalm 91:1-2 God please grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, Courage for us all to change the things we can, Wisdom to know the difference. He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust, Amen.
