Ronnie J. Reed of Mt. Holly passed away Saturday July 13, 2019 at Virtua Hospital in the Samaritan Hospice Unit, in Mt. Holly. He was 69. Ronnie was born in Mt. Holly and was a lifelong resident of Mt. Holly. He worked as a tour guide for the prison in Mt Holly for many years. Ronnie enjoyed kayaking, fishing and golfing. He also was a die hard Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Alma and Newton Reed, his sister Barbara Lough. Ronnie is survived by his daughter Michelle Reed; his brothers Wayne (Jackie) Reed, Joseph “Thurman” Reed and Brucie (Linda) Reed; his sisters Donna Reed Willitts, Linda Basim and Deborah Burns. Ronnie leaves to cherish his memories 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 20th at 1PM at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
