Obituary for Harry N. Ritchie Sr.

Harry Norman Ritchie, Sr. of Toms River, NJ passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 surrounded by
his loving wife, Debra and sons David and Harry. He was only 65. Harry was born in Camp Kilmar, NJ on
June 22, 1954 and had been a longtime resident of Toms River. He worked his way through the ranks at
NJ Transit, achieving Station Master in Hoboken. After 38 years with the Railroad, he retired in 2014.
Harry was an avid fisherman, who also loved to golf and enjoyed cooking, baking and of course, eating.
But his greatest love was spending time and taking care of his 8 granddaughters. He was dedicated to
being an amazing and supporting husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will
be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Debra Ritchie, two sons and wife, David and Kristine Ritchie
and Harry N. Ritchie Jr.; eight grandchildren: Destinee, Madison, Samantha, Mackenzie, Brittnee, Mia,
Isabella and Juliette; and his siblings Melvin Ritchie, Jack Ritchie and Mary and Robert Mezzatesta.
There will be a viewing Saturday October 12, 2019 from 1-4PM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317
High St., Mt. Holly. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Email condolences to

HOME, Mt. Holly.
