Angel L. Montes of Mt. Laurel passed away Sunday November 24, 2019 at his residence. He was 70. Angel was born in Puerto Rico and had been a longtime resident of Southampton Twp. before moving to Mt. Laurel a year ago. He had worked 20 plus years at Medford Leas in the Maintenance Department. Angel enjoyed gardening, fishing, crabbing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Nydia Montes; his children: Reynaldo Vargas (Sharon Ferrell-Vargas) , Yanessa Montes and Sharin Montes; and his grandchildren: Thalia Montes, Nicolas Vargas and Lorenzo Felicia. Angel is also survived by his sister Elena Montes; his mother-in-law Providencia Hernandez and his brother-in-law Issac Torres.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 29th at 11AM at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St. Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Friday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
