Betty Louise Kilgore Fredrick (most affectionately known as Big Chops to her boys) was born April 19,1952 in Canalou,Mo to Earl and Samella Kilgore. Betty was baptized at an early age. She graduated from Malden High School in 1970. Betty was United in marriage to Havart Fredrick jr. and to this union 3 sons were born. In 1978 the military relocated the family to New Jersey where they settled. Betty worked for the state of New Jersey at New Lisbon Developmental center as a Direct care/ supervisor for 30+ years retiring in 2015. She absolutely loved spoiling and spending time with her granddaughters. Christmas was her absolute favorite holiday. She loved getting a big live tree and decorating. You could almost always find her in her favorite spot on the couch watching Hallmark Christmas movies ALL YEAR LONG! Betty departed this earthly life on Monday April 20, 2020 at the age of 68yrs and 1 day.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Havart Fredrick jr, her son Anthony Todd, her father Earl Kilgore and her mother Samella Kilgore.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Patrick Stout and Travis Fredrick. 5 granddaughters Taylor Stout, Alivia Stout, Peighton Stout, Cherish Fredrick, and Saniyah Stout.
4 sisters Linda (Julian) Thompson of Dexter Mo, Iris Reed of Malden, Mo, Yvette (Hershell) Hill, Yvonne Triplett all of Malden, Mo. 10 brothers Barry Keith Kilgore of St. Louis Mo, Brad (Lisa) Kilgore of Colombia Mo, Dale (Candice) Kilgore of Poplar Bluff, Mo, Terry (Tammy) Kilgore of New Madrid Mo, Danny,Mike, Ricky, Jimmy(Brenda) and Christopher (Ann) Kilgore all of Malden,Mo. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.

Betty was a friend of mines. Her and Fred was my sons god parents. So sorry to hear of her passing. However, we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May the peace of Jesus Christ bless and comfort Patrick, Travis and the family! Pastor Mary Ann Pulley and Family

My friend/sister I will miss you so dearly. ❤ We had such good times, milestones that we shared ( The best one was helping bring your First Granddaughter my God daughter into this world , man that was a day ! We cried together and we laughed together a lot . Never a dull moment with you my Friend🥰 I love you Girl. May you Rest in Peace❤
