Obituary for Calvin E Forvour Sr.

Calvin E. Forvour Sr. of Masonville, passed away September 28, 2020 under the care of Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly at the age of 89. He was born in Masonville, NJ, where he was a lifelong resident. Calvin had worked as a mechanic for Mt. Holly township, Gerdelman’s Garage in Hainesport and had his own garage called “Cal’s Auto Services” and Duncan Buick of Moorestown. He was an Exempt and Life member of the Masonville Fire Department. Calvin enjoyed working on antique clocks, splitting firewood, tinkering with cars, bowling, camping and a pro at horseshoes.

Calvin is the son of the late Maurice and Laura Forvour also of Masonville, He was preceded in death by his son Calvin Forvour Jr.. Calvin is survived by his wife of 71 years, Janet Forvour (nee-Cahall); his children: Barney Forvour, Debbie Brazina (Raymond), Libby Zimbleman-Forvour, Kenny Forvour (Sandy) and Gregory Forvour; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great grandchildren and a great-great-great grandson. He is also survived by his sister Patsy Frost also of Masonville.

Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Saturday October 3rd at 12:30PM at the Evergreen Cemetery, Main St., Lumberton. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Saturday morning from 9AM-12PM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Calvin to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ. Email condolences to the family at leefuneralservice.com.
