Obituary for Janet Forvour

Janet Forvour (nee Cahall), of Masonville, passed away November 11, 2020 at Laurel Brook Rehabilitation Center of Mount Laurel at the age of 87. Born in Lumberton and resided in Mount Laurel her entire life. Mom and Pop were married November 5th, 1949 and had six children. She had many jobs over the years including Ellis Meats as a meat cutter, factory work and in her later years was a crossing guard for Mount Laurel. She was also a Member of the Masonville Ladies Auxiliary and a Girl Scout leader. Mom liked to make crafts, candles and crochet afghans and doilies. They enjoyed camping with their friends and most of all, loved their dogs Harley, Precious and Rascal.

Janet is the daughter of the late of Bryon and Anna Cahall. Preceded in death by her husband Calvin E. Forvour, Sr. and her son Calvin E. Forvour Jr., her brothers Earl and Raymond, sisters, Ruth Kassock,Rene DeBolt. She is survived by her children, Barney Forvour, Debbie Brazina (Raymond), Libby Zimbleman-Forvour, Kenny Forvour (Sandy) and Gregory Forvour and many, many generations to follow.

Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Monday, November 16th at 11:30AM at the Evergreen Cemetery, Main St., Lumberton. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Monday morning from 9AM-11PM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Janet to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ. Email condolences to the family at leefuneralservice.com.
