Obituary for Walter C. "Walt" Schroeder

Walter Conrad Schroeder 1943 to 2021

Walter died peacefully at the age of 77. He left this earth the way he chose to live his life, on his own terms. He never met a person he didn't know. He was welcoming to new people in any social setting. He always had a smile on his face. Walter was a retired Truck driver. He always considered himself an asphalt cowboy, riding the road in his steel horse. He was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and was an avid fisherman who loved nothing better than passing his knowledge of the sport on to new enthusiasts. Walter spent many happy hours on the beaches of Long Beach Island staring out to the sea waiting for the "big one" to bite. He was raised in Cranbury, New Jersey.
Walter was in a long-term relationship with Lynnmarie Wilson. He is also survived by his two children Walter Conrad 3 and Kathleen Mosher nee Schroeder; Several grandchildren and one great grandchild; his sisters and brother in laws. Chester and Marlyn Brown, nee Schroeder, Robert and Cheryl Blackburn nee Schroeder; and Numerous Nephews and Nieces.
A memorial service will be held to rejoice his life when the restrictions are lifted on occupation limits. Email condolences to the family at leefuneralservice.com Arrangements were made with Ed Kaelin III at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Holly.
