Choon Ban Anderson
Mt. Holly Resident

Choon Ban Anderson of Mt. Holly passed away February 10, 2021 at Cooper Hospital in Camden, at the age of 91. She was born in North Korea, and she studied fashion design in South Korea prior to immigrating to the United States. She was a longtime resident of Mt. Holly. Choon also worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at Medford Leas in Medford. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a member and founder of the Korean International Daughters’ Society, a Korean American women’s charitable and social organization. She served as the organization’s president two times. Choon enjoyed watching Korean TV shows and reading, but her biggest love was spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all.
Choon was preceded in death by her husband, William Anderson, and her granddaughter, Alicia Sansalone. Choon is survived by her two daughters: Mesanie Lee (Richard) and Elizabeth Sansalone (Stephen); her grandchildren: Katrina Brandt (Daniel), William Sansalone (Rebecca), Kristin Lee, and Kimberly Sansalone; and her great-granddaughter, Emma Kate Brandt.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Moday, February 22th at 9:30AM at the Sacred Heart Church, 260 High St., Mt. Holly. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening February 17th from 6-7PM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High Street, Mt. Holly. Interment will follow the mass in the Beverly National Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson was one of my Mom's (Sue Milligan) BEST and oldest friends. So much so that my mother picked her and her husband to be my God parents. I remember times when the Anderson's would come over to our house and visit and we would go and visit them too. I have to admit, I always looked forward to them coming over during the Holidays because they would come bearing gifts. I remember one particular Christmas when they bought me a basketball/football combination gift. That was my FAVORITE gift that year.

Although I will say, it was the gift of their love that was the best.

Mr. Anderson would always have a smile on his face. He was as jovial as they come. I really miss I will miss Mrs. Anderson.

Mesanie and Elizabeth, even though we haven't seen each other for quite some time, I wanted you to know that I loved your parents and I remember them fondly. As you know, your Mother had a quiet sweet spirit which I will surely miss...
