Doris Shirley Dever of Mt. Laurel passed away March 3, 2022 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, at the age of 89. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa and had been a longtime resident of Mt. Laurel. Doris was a school bus driver for 37 years for variety of different schools, lastly at Head Start. She loved her cats and dogs. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008 Raymond Dever, Sr., her brothers Edward and Calvin Rapp and her daughter Diane Dever. Doris is survived by her 2 children: Raymond Dever, Jr.(Pat) and Dona Homen (Joseph); her grandchildren: Michael Dever, Joey Homen (Liz), Jenny Griffis (Mark) and Wayne Homen ; her great-grandchildren: Raymond Homen, Michael Dever and Austin Dever; her nieces and nephews; and many other close family members.
Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Monday March 7, 2022 at 11AM at Bethel Cemetery in Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Doris to the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 35 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060. Email condolences to the family at leefunetalservice.com.
