Michael P. Madison, 78 of Southampton NJ passed away on Tuesday March 22, 2022. Michael was born
and raised in Brooklyn NY. He graduated from Brooklyn Preparatory and St. John’s College where he
majored in English. He served in the US Army during the 1960’s and was part of the Green Beret Special
Forces; an elite unit. He took his naturally outgoing and charming nature and turned it into a successful
career in sales, with many of his peers often joking, “he could sell ice to an Eskimo”. He eventually
settled in Scarsdale NY, where he helped raise his kids. He was also naturally gifted with his hands and
could often be found working on his house.
Later in life he relocated to Southampton N.J. where he spent the remainder of his years spending time
with his long-term companion, Maude Mesler. He and Maude went on many adventures together and
he truly enjoyed the memories they created in their travels. Michael is survived by Maude, his three
children Michael, Kathryn, and Terrence as well as his brother Peter and five grandchildren.
A service will be held at St. Paul’s on the Hill Episcopal Church on Wednesday March 30 th at 12:30 PM, 40
