Edward John Downs Jr. of Willingboro passed away July 25, 2022 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, at the age of 52. He was born in Trenton, NJ and had been a longtime resident of Willingboro. Ed had worked 10 years at Princetel in the Quality Control department. He enjoyed boating, listening to music, going to concerts, air brushing and playing with his pets.
He is survived by his longtime companion Ginger Matthews; his mother Marie Nugent Nelson); his father Edward Downs Sr.; his step children Michael Whitman (Les) and Katie Cummings (Tyler); and his grandchildren Jackson and Winter Cummings. Ed is also survived by his siblings: Denise Gillard (Michael), Eric Nugent Jonathan Downs and Alison Wisniewski (Ken); his nephew Michael Gillard Jr.; his grandfather Edward Downs; and his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 4th at 11AM at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Thursday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
