Obituary for Lauren J Boe (Hinshaw)
Lauren Joan Boe of Joint Base McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst passed away, Sunday September 25, 2022, at the age of 30.
Lauren was born in Australia where she served as Leading Aircraftwoman in the Royal Australian Air Force from 2014 to 2019. Her efforts contributed to US Operation Inherent Resolve and NATO led operations in Afghanistan Operation Resolute Support. During Lauren’s deployment to the United Arab Emirates in 2018, she met her husband, Anthony. While she waited to be eligible to enlist in the US Air Force, she attended Southern New Hampshire University since 2020. Lauren was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, in hopes to someday be a social worker to help under privileged and abused children. Lauren was into fitness, boxing, walking and was a volunteer with Red Cross. She loved spending time with her husband and her son Dominick.
She is survived by her husband Anthony Boe Jr. of 3 years; her son Dominick; her parents; Harvey and Marie Hinshaw; her siblings Jayden Hinshaw, Simone Hinshaw (Arjun), Katie Hicks (Matthew); and her grandmother Joan Stevens “Nan”. Lauren is also survived by her aunts Helen and Toni; her nieces Ruby, Abigail, and Ariella.
Lauren is also survived by her father-in-law Anthony Boe Sr. and his wife Mary; her mother-in-law Kathleen Castro and her husband Albert; along with her brothers and sisters in law. Lastly, her fur baby dog Colt.
Her friends and work family at Kiddie Academy will treasure all that she brought that helped put smiles on the faces of her students, colleagues and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend Lauren's viewing on Sunday, October 2, 2022, 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the Lee Funeral Home 317 High Street in Mount Holly. Interment will be private.
