Charles A. Wilson, Sr, known as Butch, passed away peacefully with his children there on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, at the age of 84. He was born on his family's farm on N. Pemberton Road, Pemberton Township. Butch lived most of his married life in Birmingham, New Jersey before moving to the Browns Mills area over 20 years ago. He worked at Sybron Chemicals for 42 years before retiring. In the 42 years Butch worked at Sybron he only missed one day of work.
He was the son of the Late, Alfred C Wilson and Frances Breininger Wilson. Husband of the late Thelma May Wilson of 65 years, the father of the late Richard R. Wilson and the brother of the late Bud (Jane), Harold (Virginia), Mary (George), Dan (Gail), Tom, Alberta, Frank and Harvey. Butch was the father of Charles E Wilson, Jr (Susan) of Shamong,, Debbie Eden (Mark) of Browns, Mills, and Donna Grimm (Jeff) of Southampton; grandchildren, William, Brian (Colleen), Shaun, Lori (Juan), Nathan (Laura), Ben (Madi), Anna, Michael and Richard Jr; great grandchildren Alexis (Kaleb), Destiny, Mark, Malayna, Linkyn, Emma, Claire, Asher and Dakota; and his great- great grandson Leiland. He is also brother to David (Audrey), Lois, Carole, Madalene, Richard (Dollie), Maryann (Harry), Dolores (Tom), Milton (Darlene), Joe and Donnie.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2022, at 12PM at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High Street, Mt Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Wednesday morning from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the New Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton.
