Obituary for Joseph John Schwartz Jr.
Joseph J. Schwartz Jr. of Pemberton New Jersey passed away suddenly on January 9, 2023 at his residence, at the age of 75. He was born in Trenton New Jersey and had been a long time resident of Pemberton Township. Joe had work for 38 years and retired as an Environmental Protection Specialist at Fort Dix. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Army. Joe enjoyed tinkering with everything especially things involving mechanics. He was also a fan of science fiction shows and movies.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helene Haldeman Schwartz, his parents Joe and Catherine Schwartz and his brother Francis Schwartz. Joe is survived by his son and stepchildren: Joseph Schwartz III (Amanda), Susan Quillen (Shane), Kim Haldeman and James Haldeman; His grandchildren: Steven, Shawn, Samantha, Mia, Tatiana, and Summer; and his niece Kristy Schwartz and his nephew John Egelsen lll (Alyssa).
There will be a private graveside service on Tuesday January 17th at 11AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Marne Highway, Hainesport. Email condolences to the family at leefuneralservice.com. Arrangements were made with Ed Kaelin III at the Lee Funeral Home, Mt. Holly.
