Shawn O'Leary East age 55, passed away on Thursday February 23rd, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Shawn was preceded in death by his father Melvin Douglas East and his mother Nancy Lee Dunlap nee Hurlbut. As a boy Shawn loved playing baseball and that showed anytime he was on the field. Shawn loved animals. He loved dogs and he owned, bonded and trained many dogs throughout his lifetime.
Shawn is survived by his daughter Rachel Nicole East. He is also survived by his sister Mollie Dunlap, a close friend he considered his brother, John Evans Sr, a close friend he considered his sister, Kimberly Mendez ; his aunt Kerri Hurlbut and his estranged sister Shannon East along with many other family members, friends and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Shawn's name can be made to the Burlington County Animal Shelter in Westampton, NJ. Arrangements were made with Ed Kaelin III at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Holly.
