Obituary for Sandra Grainger
Sandra Grainger passed away April 7, 2023 at Evergreen’s Episcopal Home in Moorestown , New Jersey, at the age of 81. She was a 1960 graduate of Mount Holly High School. Sandy had worked and retired after 27 years as an administrative assistant to the Warden in the Burlington county jail. She enjoyed traveling, square dancing and going on camping trips to Florida with their RV for the winter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Naomi Morgan, her brother Donald Morgan and her brother Robert Morgan. Sandy is survived by her husband of 51 years Thomas Grainger; her children: James Hendershot (Deborah), Brett Grainger (Andrea) and Kimberly Peirce (Todd); and her grandchildren: Jessica, Mickella, James, Dakota, Kelly and Aaron.
A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held on Saturday April 15th at 11AM at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. Friends may visit with the family Saturday morning from 10:30AM-11:00AM at the funeral home. The service is open to the public, but the interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Sandy either to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036.
