Howard W. Disney III
Howard W. Disney III of Mt. Laurel Township passed away suddenly Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at his residence. He was 61.
Howard was born in Audubon, N.J. and had been a Lumberton/Mt. Holly resident before being a longtime resident of Mt. Laurel. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Howard enjoyed listening to music especially the Beatles, drawing, reading and he just enjoyed life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard W. Disney Jr. Howard is survived by his mother Kay (Gauntt) Disney; six siblings, David Disney, Raymond Disney (Wendy), Kathy Kiper, Rose Tompkins (Mark), Lois Disney and Kay Chaffin; longtime friend, Josephine Stevenson, and two step-sons Ricky Stevenson and Thomas Carr. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday, March 1, at Lee Funeral Home, 317 High Street, Mount Holly. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow the service with honors in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Arneytown.
Due to the cemetery's restrictions on flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Laurel Library, 100 Walt Whitman Ave., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
