Stella H. Warwick
Stella H. Warwick of Mt. Laurel passed away Saturday January 27, 2018 at her residence. She was 70. Stella was born in Mt. Holly, NJ and had been a longtime resident of Lumberton and Mt. Laurel. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Lumberton Fire Department and a member of the Ostomy Association of Southern New Jersey. Stella also was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church, Mt. Holly. She enjoyed drawing, painting, spending time with her family and her extended adopted family. Stella was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who will be deeply missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard C. Warwick Sr. and her brother Harry Mellon. Stella is survived by three children: Rebecca Warwick, Terri Warwick and Richard Warwick Jr.; her grandchildren: Melissa Lurty, Kelsey Steinmetz, Kristopher Steinmetz, Tiffany Warwick, Kyle Steinmetz and Haylee Palmer; and three great-grandchildren: Rylee Warwick, Aubrey Scull and Lillian Lurty. She is also survived by her twin brother George Mellon, her sister Marie A. Valentine, nieces, nephews, her many adopted children and grandchildren; who all called her “Nana.”
Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 2nd at 11AM at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Thursday evening February 1st from 7-9PM and Friday morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Marne Highway, Hainesport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Stella to either the American Cancer Society or to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08054.
