Jaim💜

Jaimie was my beautiful best friend. We met over ten years ago and instantly we clicked. The normal traits youre supposed to look for in a friend are not at all what I found so appealing about her. I loved that she was sarcastic, wity, took nothing and nobody serious, didnt care that she was the loudest one in a room full of people and was a complete badass. She was the best person to have in your corner because she protected and loved the people close to her. For the last 10 years, we shared everything. For me, she was the person I turned to when things got rough. She knew my secrets, fears, annoyances, goals and dreams. I was the same for her. We had no secrets, never lied to each other, and were always brutally honest yet full of respect. Jaimie held my hand through some of the hardest times of my life and did so without a single complaint or expecting anything in return. And when life was really good, we celebrated together. My favorite thing about Jaimie was her ability to make anybody laugh. I always knew when I got a call that started with Dude... I was bound to be hysterical within minutes. Even when she wasnt trying to be funny, she still was. No matter what kind of mood I was in, it was impossible to not crack a smile with her around. We had the best times just hanging out, gossiping and watching cartoons even after our kids had already left the room. She was down for anything. One night, we were trying to figure out a way to mess with this girl we didnt like without getting in trouble because we were new moms, so we drove to her house and each grabbed a side of her wooden bench out front and moved it to the side of her house. Jaimies obnoxious laugh as we ran away is so clear in my head to this day. I remember being so out of breath from running and giggling like little kids and Jaimie saying thatll teach her as if the girl knew it was us at all. Jaimie taught me so much.. the best dry shampoo brands, how to do a Smokey eye after she watched 700 makeup tutorials on YouTube and spent $100 at cvs on mabelline products, but most importantly she taught me the value of friendship. We always talked about how low maintenance our friendship was and how we wouldnt have it any other way. We never argued, we never judged, everything about being friends with jaimie was so easy. Its impossible to put into words how much she meant to me, and how honored I was to be not only her best friend, but play such a big role in her childrens lives, be chosen to be her maid of honor and someone she confided in and loved. I feel bad for the people who didnt get to know the Jaimie i know, because she was the best. The best, most loyal friend, mother, confidant and Aunt to my children. I was always so inspired by hers and cjs love story and was so happy for her that they reconnected and she got to experience real love. There will never be another Jaimie, I will never be able to replace her, but I am so grateful for the memories we made together. I know shes in a better place but I cant help but feel robbed. We were planning her wedding and vacations and making plans for our babies to grow up together, and I just feel like I didnt get enough time with her. But then again 1000 years wouldnt be enough time with someone like her. To say she will be missed is such an understatement, but shes taking a piece of me with her, and I will always have her with me.
