Larry F. Locke of Southampton passed away March 22, 2019. He was 66. Larry was born in Winchester, Virginia and had been a longtime resident of Southampton Twp. He had worked with Katona farms for over 30 years. Larry enjoyed coon hunting; especially with his good friend Julia Van Sciver. He loved his dogs, going to AC and just being outdoors. Larry belonged to many different Coon Hunting Clubs in the tristate area; Chester Berks, Morgantown,PA, Cecil County, Chesapeake Bay, MD, Sussex County Coon Hunters, Delaware, and Coastal Coon Hunting Club in Delaware to name a few. His kennels were well know all over as “Get Down Kennels”. The last couple years Larry attended Chesterfield Baptist Church in Chesterfield.
He was preceded in death by his brother Donald and his sister Anna Mae. Larry is survived by four children: Larry J. Locke (Debra), Tammy Brassard, Donna Swoyer (Bill) and Herb Locke; his grandchildren: Lauren, Lindsey, Marissa, Hannah, Conner, Christopher, Timothy, Jeffrey, Michael, Stacey, Josh and Shane; and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Christine Locke- Doolittle; his good friend and hunting buddy Julia Van Sciver and his nieces and nephews.
Keeping to Larry’s wishes there will be no services and interment will be private. Email condolences to the family at Arrangements were made with Ed Kaelin III at the Lee Funeral Home, Mt. Holly.

Rest easy Poppy. You will be missed by all who loved you. I couldnt believe it when I heard you were gone. I screamed so loudly I hurt my own ears and you know how loud I can be :) Tell my mom I said hello and give her a hug for me.

Dear Larry I don't know how I am suppose to go on and get through this.I just can't grasp u being gone and be being here I feel like my world is crush please tell me how do I go on never hearing ur voice or talking or seeing u again only in my mind and heart.we had bad times but more good times thou.i miss u so much and I will ever love you .u was my rock my everything.give mommy hugs and kisses and tell her I miss her and love her.someday I will join u both and we will be together forever.until then just remember I love u for ever in my heart and mind.please God help me Do this.i don't know how I bro love u Forever.u are my rock.

I remember the first time I meet him. He looked at Wes and said that’s the woman you need. She’s going to keep you in line. An I promised him I would and I will make sure I keep that promise. The kids loved you so much an love everything that you thought them it just that little bit of time.
