Tawanda Simpson

My deepest condolences goes out to Desiree's son, daughter and her family. I met Dez in 2003 when were deployed to Qatar AB and she was my NCOIC, she was a nurturer to the young airmen(all women) that worked for us and she was a force to be reckoned with when she had a point to make. We connected quickly and became tight as thieves, but as work would have it, our difference in how to discipline our airman when they failed to meet standards caused us to have heart burns with one another, but I always knew that you were one who stood by your principles and convictions and I could always respect that. I never got another opportunity after that to tell you how very proud of you I was but I ask God to pass this message to you. My heart is heavy at your transition, but I rejoice in knowing that you are resting peacefully in God's loving arms. Continue to R.I.E.L Dez, you will be missed. Tee
